To dowse with a pendulum, you divine answers through a series of yes or no answers. First, you need to program your pendulum through meditation which "teaches" it how you wish to communicate with it. You will sit quietly with your programmed pendulum and ask short and simple questions. It's nice to have a willing partner. Have your partner choose an object like a figurine. Hold the figurine and study it... color.. texture... etc... then have your partner hide it. Now sit with your pendulum and envision that object in your hand. Ask your pendulum if it is in basement.... if it tells you that it is not, choose the next floor up and so on. When it tells you what floor it is on, now you need to focus on which room and then the area in that room. So look around the room and see if you can get a "feel' for it. If not, ask questions like "is it in, on or around the bed"? Continue to do this until you find it. If you don't find it, don't give up. Try another day or another partner. Like any gift, you must not give up and you must practice.
