Rustic Primitive Country Wreath
All of our primitive country wreaths are handmade by me
with the exception of the red berry twig wreath. I spend a great deal of
time hiking in the woods. I collect a variety of pine cones, moss, twigs
and other natural odds and ends to give my wreaths a primitive country
look. I could stop there and the wreath would be beautiful. But I like
to take it a step further by adding rosehips, cinnamon sticks, dried
oranges and apples and star anise. It takes me about 2 days to complete
a pine cone wreath and that's not including collecting the pine cones. I
fuss and primp till I have everything looking rustic and natural.
I make a primitive country bow and add to rusty bells for one last
rustic country touch. You can hang this primitive wreath
on a door or wall or you can use it as a candle ring on a table. The
best thing about this primitive country wreath is that is isn't just for
Christmas. You can change out the bow and tuck in a floral pick or two
to suit the holiday or season. You can embellish the wreath further by
adding white Christmas lights.

- With our pine cone wreath, you can change out the bow and add a

fabric and embellishing with more candles and other Christmas decor
to make a tablescape.
- Give primitive wreaths as a hostess gift. They can be used all

This medium sized primitive wreath can be hung as a traditional
wreath or used as a candle ring for a large candle. This wreath is
handmade by me. I actually walk into the woods and collect a variety of
pine cones, moss and natural odds and ends to take this from being just
a pine cone wreath to a primitive country wreath that is perfect for
Christmas and all year long. I embellish the pine cones and moss with
dried apples, oranges, cinnamon sticks, star anise, nuts and rosehips.

This is the same primitive wreath as pictured above. I have included
a red berry candle ring and a primitive candle with a silicone flicker
bulb. This primitive Christmas candle ring makes a nice centerpiece for your dining table because it's
low enough for folks to see over. It's also safer because there is no
flame to worry about as the food gets passed around. You won't have to
worry about your linens getting wax on them.

one for myself. They look like an aged rusty iron Victorian wreath
stand. If you have a primitive country wreath, this stand is a
